Can I photograph my own bookshelves to add my books?

Yes. Photograph the bookshelves at home and Spines adds the books to Loved. It's the quickest way to show Spines what you like.

1. Open My Books → Loved → Books.
2. Tap + Add a book, then Scan a shelf.
3. Take a photo of one shelf. The usual scanning tips help here too.
4. Check the list of books Spines found. Untick any you don't want.
5. Tap Import … Books. You'll see Added … books to your loved list!

Repeat for each shelf.

How this differs from a normal scan

• It doesn't use up any of your monthly scans.
• It doesn't appear in your scan history.
• The books go straight into Loved. You won't see ratings or recommendations for them.
