What can Spines scan?
Book spines, in charity shops, thrift stores, libraries or at home. Not DVDs or records.
Spines reads the spines of books standing on a shelf. It works in charity shops, thrift stores, second-hand bookshops, libraries and at home.
- Books only. Spines doesn't recognise DVDs, CDs, records or games.
- Spines facing out. Books stacked flat or facing cover-out are harder to read. Stand them up or take a closer photo.
- Any country. Spines works wherever you are. It's best with English-language books, and reads many others too.
